Focus!!

It seems that whatever we focus on, we seem to get. I really focused on relaxing and eating in Costa Rica recently and reaped the rewards of double digit weight gain. Upon my arrival home, I was told "It comes off so slow but goes on so fast," which I took as a personal challenge. In less than the time I gained it, the weight was off because of my focus to the matter. Whatever your goals are, get focussed and amazing things will happen!

Often times on calls we get to hear from Indie Traders in the field making things happen and everyone wants to know their "secret" for success. The recipe: WORK! As simple as it sounds, work is the answer to how every successful person got to where they are at. Today we had Jeff Birk on the call and got to ask him how he got a new MMT record of 11 enrolled in 30 days. Sure enough his answer was "he worked every day at it." Jeff utilized the Market Cast product, sent out videos and trades. One great tip he shared is that he always starts off with a personal phone call. Great job Jeff and here's to many more!

July in the Books!

It's hard to believe another month has gone by. It is true what they say, get involved with something you love and time will fly by. With MMT, we have seen this become a reality for so many. We have yet again beat the previous month's sales volume and continue to grow. As I mentioned on the call today, this is secondary to the results our Independent Traders get each week. Last week we had a record number of traders in the double digits and the Top Trader that was in Class had an impressive 15.25 points on the S&P last week. Great Job!!

I recently read an article about an immigrant who came to this country with almost nothing. He started working at a restaurant busing tables, tucking away money and started investing. With discipline and hard work, he now runs a fund with millions under management. It's a good reminder of what this country and the financial markets offer. Typically the market tends to pull back on volume and volitility during the summer months which would in turn slow down our Indie Traders in the field. Not the case this year!! With all our Market Movers out there we have seen big volume on the S&P minis and also big enrollment numbers coming in. With results like Jared W last week reeling in 8 points live, it's hard not to talk about MMT. We just posted a record enrollment day yesterday and we are looking to finish the month strong. It was great spending some time with John Paulson who had an estimated 20 billion in personal income over the past 3 years. David Faber of CNBC was the master of ceremonies for the event which was attended by 1000 traders including Alan "Ace" Greenberg. It was great spending some time one of our Founding 50, Yudi Hocheiser who has recently moved to New York from Israel. We look forward to attending the next event!
